Privacy Policy
Last reviewed: 12/07/2026
This policy explains what GlassPound collects, why, and the rights you have over it. GlassPound is operated by David Graves (company registration pending). Contact: personalfinanceidea@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
Your account email (to sign you in and contact you about your plan), and the financial data you enter yourself — income, spending plan, transactions, tags, and your goal/plan-engine answers. We process this under a contract lawful basis: it's necessary to provide the budgeting and planning service you signed up for. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
We use two third-party processors: Resend (to send sign-in links and check-in emails) and, only if you consent below, PostHog (EU-hosted product analytics, to understand which parts of the app are used and improve them). Your data is stored with Neon (managed Postgres) and served via Vercel.
Cookies
The sign-in session cookie is strictly necessary and always set — without it you can't stay signed in. Analytics cookies are optional and only set with your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, everything is removed immediately and permanently — see “Your rights” below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can, at any time:
- Access & export your data — from your account page.
- Delete your account — also from your account page. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Complain — email us first at personalfinanceidea@gmail.com and we'll acknowledge within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO at any time.
Not financial advice
GlassPound suggests an order and account types only — never specific products, funds, shares or providers, and never a projected return. We're not regulated financial advisers and this isn't regulated financial advice. For complex decisions, speak to a regulated adviser.
